Graphic formats[edit]

It would be better to have a PNG here instead of a GIF, as GIF's have patent problems and most free software projects have moved to PNG. If no one else wants to, I'll convert and reupload. Kricxjo 21:25, 21 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Can someone post or link to the other flag? Jeshii 09:42, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)

  • I added a PNG of the other flag. Carioca 03:41, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Image Problems[edit]

What's the deal with the black bars behind the green star and jubilee symbol? Can someone make versions of these images without the black bars? SimpsonDG 02:54, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

This appears to be a problem that only appears when using Internet Explorer. I've found no fix that works, other than to use another Web browser. SimpsonDG (talk) 17:50, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

"Controversy"[edit]

It's extremely ironic that the page dedicate to the flag of a movement which advocates world's unity will be a prey of the tainted U.S. based Americas-America controversy. It would be easy to research that the five continents symbolized on Esperanto flag aren't the absurd sounding: Eurasia, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania; but rather the 'true' and traditional ones: Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. So sorry that this tainted argument still plagues the Wikipedia. Have added a NPOV to the article to flag this.--65.198.132.126 (talk) 22:54, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

I can't really understand the complaint made in 2009, so I'm removing the tag. -- Evertype· 10:09, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Esperanto symbols. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
