Talk:Soft money

Image
Talk:Soft money From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigation Jump to search Supposedly soft money was already illegal for nearly a century. We're always hearing about corporations and other wealthy sources giving huge campaign contributions. I guess the "loophole" is that this money supposedly is not used "in connection with" any specific federal election -- an evasion which is laughably obvious. If you give a party a million dollars, they're gonna spend it in a way that gets their candidates elected , no matter what. For example, there's no such thing as a non-partisan voter registration drive or get-out-the-vote campaign: party workers do these things for partisan advantage only, I reckon. -- Uncle Ed 13:59, 29 Aug 2003 (UTC) Retrieved from " https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Soft_money&oldid=572445057 "

[3] Hebrew Bible (Old Testament in the Christian Bible) [ edit ] The first mention of the Horites in the Torah was when they were defeated by a coalition of Eastern kings led by Kedorlaomer of Elam (in modern Iran ).
