I am reviewing this (old or very old) FA as part of WP:URFA/2020, an effort to determine whether old featured articles still meet the featured article criteria. The MOS:SANDWICH and considerable image layout issues are an indication that the article is not actively watched, and there are indications as well that the text has not been updated. I have cleaned up the image issues.
Text should be reviewed throughout for datedness (sample: China is the major importer, purchasing 65,000 tonnes in 1999, followed by Singapore with 40,000 tonnes and Taiwan with 5,000 tonnes. In the same year, the United States imported 2,000 tonnes, mostly frozen, and the European Community imported 500 tonnes. ... cited to 2001). And "It has over 300 named varieties in Thailand and 100 in Malaysia, as of 1987." And "at least nine of which produce edible fruit" cited to 1987.
There is odd organization; for example, Cultivation and availability contains information on History and a one-sentence Enviromental impact section.

I notice Italian Wikipedia has quite a good article at GA level, though it appears to have been based in part on the English version. --Michael Goodyear✐ ✉ 20:19, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
