This is Dardan. i see a very very big problem with the table for the parliamentary election results. something i cant understand is why the OSCE report is very wrong. perhaps i'm confused by it. The elections were won by the democratic party with 35% of votes and in second came the socialist party with 30% of the votes. yet the report states it was won by the national front party. they didnt' win any seats in parliament.
here is the central election committee's data: [1] [2] [3]
Thank you, Regulus, for updating the data. But I think it is worth preserving the data about the previous parliament. I am not sure about how to do that. Andres 12:37, 29 Aug 2003 (UTC)
- I ran into this too, but I just decided to remove some data that was too specific. There is two things: 1) maybe we could create another page, with a table of all the old data, 2) we should definitely put in the article the date of the current data (such as: "data as of 2003") and maybe link it to some page so that it could be easy to maintain (this should probably have been done throughout Wikipedia, but now it's probably too late). Just a suggestion, I personally think such specific data will become a mess as data from different years is intermixed. --Dori 13:36, 29 Aug 2003 (UTC)
- I did not notice immediately that the data about the distribution of seats after the previous elections already were contained in the article though without the percentage. And the percentage isn't really necessary. And right now the distributions of the seats are doubled for both elections. I think this doubling isn't necessary either.
- I think that we can keep the old data in the article until there are few of them. When the old data became a clutter we can create a new page for them. Anyway, they should be preserved in some article where they can be easily found. Their value doesn't become old when they become "old" data. And we also should add older data.
- Each type of data has its own cycle of renewing, some faster than once a year (e.g. currency courses), some slower. Therefore I think we should treat each of them in their own way. As to the distribution of seats, it basically changes from elections to elections, though changes do occur between elections. Andres 14:35, 29 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Important notice[edit]
The government section of the "Outline of Albania" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.
