Hello Paranoid1, welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you uploaded a new picture at Radiohead. You might want to have a look at the Image use policy. Please you confirm that you own the copyright to this image and make a note of this on the Image:Radiohead.jpg page if you do. If not, the image will be deleted if it is a copyright violation.
You can learn more on the how to edit page. The naming conventions and style guide pages are also useful. There is a sandbox which you can use to experiment in. If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. Angela 18:20, 9 Sep 2003 (EDT)
The link you provided at Image:Radiohead.jpg tells me I am forbidden from accessing the page. Tuf-Kat 05:48, Sep 10, 2003 (UTC)
- It's because it's a direct link to the image. A link to the page that the image is on would work: http://www.greenplastic.com/multimedia/gallery/band/

Vanessa Carlton[edit]
Hello. I noticed that the text you put in the Vanessa Carlton article was very similar to that on this webpage. Did you write that page, or have permission to use the material from it? If so, please could you reply at Talk:Vanessa Carlton or Wikipedia:Copyvio. And did you have permission to use the photograph? It's just that we have to make sure that we are not infringing other people's copyrights here. Your own contributions that you write yourself are quite welcome, of course. I hope to see you contributing more in the future! -- Oliver P. 08:34, 8 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Paranoid1. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Paranoid1~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
