Samanus is the made-up name of a Wikipedia user. The user has submitted articles that mainly revolve around Batman in the DC Comics series.

Samanus is also the first name of a character in an online Harry Potter RPG, that is set in the 1940's. In 2001, it was judged by Warner Bros. as one of the top Harry Potter sites on the internet.
