Note: Though it states in the Guide to writing better articles that generally fictional articles should be written in present tense, all Tolkien legendarium-related articles that cover in-universe material before the current action must be written in past tense. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Middle-earth/Standards for more information about this and other article standards.

I propose that Westron be merged here. The language of Westron was not developed, very few words were invented, and in Tolkien's fiction it is almost always represented by English.--Jack Upland (talk) 09:35, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I propose Rohirric be merged here. Rohirric is represented by the Mercian dialect of Anglo-Saxon, and so there isn't much to say about it. The "Etymology" section consists mainly of the translations of names, which is unnecessary trivia.--Jack Upland (talk) 03:37, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Support. Rohirric is not notable on its own, but the content is valuable at the article of the notable topic of languages constructed by Tolkien. Hog Farm (talk) 22:44, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
